Meet the Authors
Inbound Books is home to a curated group of creators. Each one brings a distinct voice and a commitment to craft, collaboration, and building something bigger than any single book.

Christopher Bodmann
Christopher Bodmann is the author of the award-winning Kid Comet Saga, a middle-grade superhero trilogy about friendship, perseverance, and what it means to be brave. His conviction that stories exist to ignite the imagination fuels his writing, with the hope that his words will one day inspire something extraordinary. Christopher uses fantasy elements to address real-world issues, hoping to encourage boys to become avid readers by incorporating “gateway” topics that resonate with their interests. He lives in San Antonio with his creative wife and boundlessly imaginative son, where he pretends to dislike cats and understand technology.

BJ Bell
BJ Bell is the author of Karma Ledger, the first novel in The Kalachakra IP — a cyberpunk series that explores the challenges of modern society and the pull between surveillance and spirit. A writer, coder, and analyst with a background in philosophy, anthropology, and analytics, he is drawn to stories where technology, culture, and contemplative practice collide. His essays on Buddhist practice, AI ethics, and creative work appear at bjbell.com. His writing keeps returning to community, autonomy, and the small shifts that shape who we become. Bell lives in San Marcos, Texas and is at work on the second Kalachakra IP novel.

Jayne Elizabeth Bodmann
Jayne Elizabeth Bodmann is the author of The Sound of Us, an upmarket contemporary novel exploring love, ambition, and the strain of fame between two musicians. As a lifelong creative with a background in marketing, design, and illustration, her writing gravitates toward layered relationships between people and the quiet moments that shape who we become. Jayne lives with her family in San Antonio, where she draws inspiration from music, food, her children, and whatever is growing in her backyard. She is currently at work on her second book, a young adult historical fiction novel with elements of magical realism, set in World War II–era Wales.

Joseph Guyer
Joseph Guyer is a San Antonio-based writer and editor. He holds a BA and MA in English, and his short stories have appeared in literary journals. As a writer in the personal finance industry, he edits a weekly newsletter on investing and capital markets. His personal blog, The Neglected Read, grew out of a belief that people should read more fiction, not just for personal pleasure, but because a society that reads novels is a more empathetic one, and a better-read electorate forms a stronger foundation for democracy. Each article is about the gems hiding in plain sight among our tsundoku, the books we buy faster than we can read. Joseph is currently rewriting his first novel, The Word of Luz Divina, set in Franco-era Spain. Follow along at josephguyer.substack.com.
